Sunday Night Football: Broncos v 49ers Inactives

DENVER (Sporting Alert) — Inactive players for tonight’s Sunday Night Football game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Among the inactive players listed for the Broncos is running back Montee Ball, who is out of the game, as expected, with a groin injury. He did not practice this week.

Also out are wide receiver Cody Latimer, linebacker Shaquil Barrett and cornerback Tony Carter.

However, running back Juwan Thompson (knee) is active and “should get some work behind Ronnie Hillman.”

For the San Francisco 49ers, Mike Iupati is listed as inactive with a concussion, so too is Chris Culliver, who was questionable with a shoulder problem after taking no part in practice this week.

Tight end Vernon Davis is active after recovering from a back problem.

The game will see Broncos’ quarterback Peyton Manning looking to break Brett Favre‚Äôs NFL record for touchdown passes. Manning, who has 506 touchdown passes coming into this game, is just three away from taking over as the new leader.
