LONDON, Sporting Alert – English Premier League standings and results after the match that was played on Monday, April 10.

The lone match on Monday saw sixth place team Arsenal failed to make up grounds on the Top 4 after shockingly losing 3-0 at relegation-watched Crystal Palace.

Monday’s defeat has put additional pressure on manager Arsene Wenger, while the Gunners, who are on 54 points, stayed behind Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United — who all won — in the race for a Champions League slot.

Leaders Chelsea remained seven points clear atop the English Premier League standings with 75 points after beating Bournemouth 3-1 on the road on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, second-place Tottenham crushed Watford 4-0 to keep the pressure on the Blues with 68 points.

Third-place Liverpool edged Stoke City 2-1 and are on 63 points, while Manchester City turned back Hull City 3-1 to stay fourth with 61 points.

In other results, Everton defeated Leicester City 4-2, West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City both suffered 1-0 defeats to Southampton and West Ham United, while Middlesbrough and Burnley ended 0-0.
