AUGUSTA, Ga. (Sporting Alert) – Follow live text commentary, live streaming and updated leaderboard from the second round of the 79th Masters Tournament at Augusta National on Friday.
On the second day, the battle will begin to see who make the cut, as former World No. 1 and four-time Masters champion Tiger Woods looks to still be involved after major places have been decided.
The American will start the day at 1-over-par 73, following a mixed bag opening round on the Thursday and after only making the decision to play in the Masters this week, he will not want to feel like it was a mistake at the end of the day.
At the end of the second round, the low 50 and ties, as well as all those who are within 10 strokes of the lead will earn a place into the weekend’s play.
Lots of focus will also be on leader Jordan Spieth, who was nothing short of splendid in the opening — firing an 8-under-par 64, which is one-off the course record at Augusta National.
He will be hoping to continue that good form as he seeks to go even lower.
Live streaming coverage of Friday’s two Featured Groups will again be on Masters.com. Live text commentary is also available from BBC Sports, as well as the live and updated Masters Leaderboard and live discussion and interaction on the ESPN GolfCast.
