The Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets prolonged their winning streak last night after winning against the Los Angeles Clippers and the Milwaukee Bucks, respectively. It was a very entertaining night of basketball with Eastern Conference teams dominating the result scoreboard.

Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 26 points for Milwaukee but was held scoreless in the fourth quarter as the Nets pushed on to win their eighth straight to match their longest winning streak since moving to Brooklyn a decade ago.

Meanwhile, Joel Embiid had 44 points to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 119-114 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers who had Kawhi Leonard scoring 28 points in the defeat.

In other NBA results on Friday night, the New Orleans Pelicans topped the Oklahoma City Thunder 128-125 in overtime play, Luka Doncic tallied 50 points in helping the Dallas Mavericks to a 112-106 win versus the Houston Rockets, while the Orlando Magic dismissed the San Antonio Spurs 133-113.
