The Razorbacks came out on top with a 74-68 victory, improving their record to 2-1 against AP ranked teams this season. Georgia takes down ranked Aubrun
Georgia (11-3, 1-0 SEC) pulled off a surprise upset over No. 22 Auburn (11-3, 1-1 SEC), winning 76-64 and extending their winning streak to four games. This was Georgia’s conference opener, while Auburn falls to 1-1 in early SEC play. Terry Roberts led the way for the Bulldogs with 26 points, while Johni Broome had 22 points for the Tigers.
In the final matchup of the night, Texas A&M (9-5) edged out Florida (9-5) 66-63, extending their winning streak to three games. Julius Marble led the Aggies with 17 points and Trey Bonham paced the Gators with 21 points.
