SACRAMENTO — Scores and results from the games played in the 2018 NBA Summer League on Thursday, July 5.

The Golden State Warriors finished the California Classic undefeated, after three games, while the Los Angeles Lakers failed to win a game from the three encounters.

In fact, Golden State and Los Angeles met on Thursday with the Warriors picking up a 77-71 victory.

Marcus Derrickson led the way for Golden State with a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Omari Johnson added 15 points.

Atlanta Hawks also finished the Utah trip without a win after losing 92-87 to the Jazz.

Tony Bradley had 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Stanton Kidd 15 and Georges Niang for Utah, while Trey Lewis scored 11 points off the bench.

Rookie and former Duke Blue Devils standout Grayson Allen scored nine points to go with eight assists, six rebounds and three steals.

Tyler Dorsey finished with 17 points for the Hawks with Jaylen Morris ending with 14 in the defeat.

In another 2018 NBA Summer League score on Thursday, the Memphis Grizzlies suffered their first defeat after losing 94-87 to the San Antonio Spurs.

Warriors Top Kings, 71-54 In NBA Summer League

Derrick White had 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Spurs and Lonnie Walker IV ended with 14 points in the win.

Wayne Selden scored 26 points for Memphis.

Elsewhere, Derrick Jones Jr. finished with 19 points and seven rebounds and the Miami Heat beat the Sacramento Kings 86-76.

Meanwhile, rookie Marvin Bagley III played 29 minutes, but had just one point and three rebounds.
