Thie game is a rematch of last year’s final which was won by Chile on penalties.

When these two sides met in the first game of group play, Argentina won 2-1.

Argentina also defeated Chile 2-1 when they battled in a CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying game in March.

La Albiceleste have won four of the last five meetings and have scored 10 goals during that period.

After missing the group play game, Lionel Messi is in the starting lineup for Argentina for the final.

The 29-year-old is now fully recovered from a back injury and is ready to extend his dazzling form at Copa America 2016.

But there is no place for Sergio Augero.

Despite the injury of Ezequiel Lavezzi and Nicolás Gaitán left on the bench the Man City forward remains on the bench.

Coach Gerardo Martino has decided to go with fit again Angel Di María in the lineup.

He will play alongside Messi and Gonzalo Higuaín in the attack.

Starting as well for Argentina is Lucas Biglia in the midfield.

Meanwhile, Arturo Vidal returns from suspension for Chile, while José Fuenzalida keeps his place in the attack.

He will play alongside Alexis Sanchez and Eduardo Vargas.

Vargas comes into the game as the leading scorer at the tournament with six goals from his five outings.

Messi, has five goals, including a hat-trick during the group stage and four assists.

Higuain has four goals already and has to be considered a serious threat.

HOW THEY GOT HERE: Argentina hammered USA 4-0 in their semi-final game in Houston, to secure a place in the final.

Chile turned back Colombia 2-0 in a rain-affected match in Chicago, last Wednesday.
