LONDON, Sporting Alert – Champions League games streaming live on ESPN3 on Matchday 2, Wednesday, September 28.
Five of the eight games on the schedule for today will be streamed live on ESPN3, including the clashes between Manchester City v Celtic and Napoli vs Benfica.
Also listed for coverage on the same platform are the matchups involving Ludogorets vs PSG, Rostov vs PSV and Besiktas vs Dynamo Kyiv – with all kickoffs slated for 2:45pm ET.
In-form Manchester City will go in search of their second win of the group stages in the Champions League this season against fellow UK club Celtic in Group C at Celtic Park.
Pep Guardiola’s side hammered Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-0 in its group opener earlier this month, and starts as the overwhelming favourite to easily put away the Scottish champions.
Brendan Rodgers’ men were punished 7-0 by Spanish giants Barcelona in the opening game of Group C and could find the going tough once again against a Manchester City side that has won six straight to start the English Premier League and has looked better and better with each outing.
The other English Premier League outfits on the schedule for Wednesday are Arsenal and they will battle with Basel in Group A at Emirates Stadium.
Live coverage of this game will be at 2:45pm ET and on Arsenal Player, Fox Sports USA, as well as BT Sport Live Streaming and BT Sport 3 for those in the UK.
Also in Group A, French champions Paris Saint-Germain, who finished 1-1 with Arsenal in the group opener, will seek their first win of this campaign when they go up against Ludogorets at Vasil Levski National Stadium.
The game of the day, meanwhile, is expected to come from Group D at Vicente Calderon, where Atlético Madrid and Bayern Munich will do battle.
This clash is a repeat of last year’s semi-final, which was won by the Spanish side over two legs.
Bayern Munich midfielder Xabi Alonso insists the German club is going into today’s clash seeking revenge, but we all know that’s not true.
Elsewhere, Barcelona will take on Borussia Monchengladbach in Group C without star forward Lionel Messi, who is down with a groin injury.
