College football scores and results in Week 3, as No. 1 Alabama and No. 10 Louisville picked up impressive wins on a very busy day on Saturday.

MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert – College football scores in Week 3 on Saturday, as No. 1 Alabama and No. 10 Louisville both scored big time wins.

NO. 10 LOUISVILLE 63, NO. 2 FLORIDA STATE 20

At the Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, Lamar Jackson accounted for five total touchdowns to lead the 10th ranked Cardinals to a shocking 63-20 victory over No. 2 Florida State in an Atlantic Coast Conference showdown.

Jackson ran for four touchdowns and threw for another score to prove that he’s definitely one of the early front-runners for the Heisman Trophy.

The sophomore quarterback finished with 13 for 20 on passes for 216 yards, while rushing 17 times for another 146 yards.

and Louisville routed Florida State in what was billed as an Atlantic Coast Conference showdown game.

Brandon Radcliff ran 14 times for 118 yards and touchdown, with Jeremy Smith running for two scores.

The 60 points put up by Louisville (3-0, 2-0) handed the Seminoles (2-1, 0-1) to one of the worst losses in school history and tied for the 3rd-largest loss ever by an AP top-2 side.

The Cardinals were also scoring 60 or more points for the third straight game.

Top-ranked Alabama rallied from 21 point deficit to beat No. 19 Mississippi 48-43 in a classic college football battle on Saturday.

The Crimson Tide (3-0, 1-0 Southeastern Conference) trailed the Rebels (1-2, 0-1) late in the second quarter, but managed to lock the scores at 24-24 early in the third quarter.

The travellers scored two defensive touchdowns and grabbed another on special teams to show why they are being backed as the best time in the country.

Jalen Hurts went 19 of 31 on completed passes for 158 yards and ran for another 146 yards on 18 carries, while Damien Harris rushed 16 times for 144 yards and a score.

Chad Kelly completed 26 of 41 passes for a career-high 421 yards and three touchdowns with one interception for Ole Miss.
