College Football AP Top 25 Rankings in Week 4 sees Alabama and Ohio State holding the top 2 spots, but Florida State and Oklahoma fell big-big.

HOUSTON, TEX, Sporting Alert – Alabama stayed No. 1 in the College Football AP Top 25 Rankings in Week 4, but once again, there were several moments below them.

The Crimson Tide (3-0) who came from a 21 point deficit to beat No. 19 Ole Miss 48-43 in a classic game between the SEC rivals on Saturday, collected 50 of the 61 first-place votes for 1,510 points.

Next up for the defending College Football Playoff champions is a clash with Kent State on September 24.

Moving up to No. 2 this week was Ohio State, which impressively took care of the then-No. 14 Oklahoma in a delayed kick-off.

The Buckeyes (3-0) ran all over the Sooners in Norman Saturday for a 45-24 victory, and they received four first-place 1,442 votes.

The Big Ten powerhouses will be off this coming weekend.

Making a big climb in the College Football AP Top 25 Rankings for Week 4 was Louisville, which collected six votes for first place after hammering Florida State in the most one-sided battles between ranked v ranked teams so far this season.

The Cardinals (3-0) moved up seven places to No. 3 this week with 1,406 points.

Michigan (3-0), which got the other first-place vote stayed at No. 4, while Clemson completed the top five, after it remained fifth.

Houston is No. 6 again this week, Stanford is No. 7, Michigan State moved up four spots to No. 8 after dropping last week’s 18th-ranked Notre Dame 36-28, with Washington, down one spot this week and Texas A&M, up seven places, rounded out the top 10.

Dipping the Biggest in this week’s rankings were Florida State and Oklahoma.

The Seminoles dropped 11 places to No. 13, with the Sooners also falling 11 slots to No. 25.

Wisconsin comes in at No. 11 after falling two spots, while Georgia No. 12, Tennessee No. 14 and Miami No. 15 created the top 15 this week.

Iowa (13), Notre Dame (18) and Oregon (22) were the teams exiting the College Football AP Top 25 Rankings in Week 4.
