INDIANAPOLIS, Sporting Alert – NFL Week 2 fixtures will wrap up with Monday Night Football, as the Indianapolis Colts take on the New York Jets at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts (0-1), who came into the new season as one of the favourite in the AFC, suffered a 27-14 defeat at the Buffalo Bills last Sunday, and will be looking to avoid going down 0-2 to the start the season.

New York Jets (1-0), in the meantime, is trying to begin the season 2-0 for the first time since 2011.

Against the Bills, quarterback Andrew Luck was picked off twice, while throwing for 243 yards and two touchdowns. He will be hoping for a more control display for the Colts on Monday night, as he looks to connect with T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief.

In the Jets’ Week 1 victory over the Browns, Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 15 of 24 pass attempts for 179 yards and two touchdowns and an interception, while Chris Ivory rushed 20 times for 91 yards and two scores.

Travis Benjamin caught all three of his targets for 89 yards and a touchdown when the Jets defeated Cleveland last week.

Before kick-off time, Bovada has the Indianapolis Colts as 7-point favourites against the Jets at home, with the total sitting at 45.

Quarterback Geno Smith remains out as he continues to recover from a broken jaw after being punched by a teammate during preseason.
