The Broncos starting as 8-point favorites to win and the game’s total sitting at 57.

Boise State (8-4) enters this contest hungry for more success after winning five of its last six bowls.

The Mountain West outfits have also played in a bowl in each of the last 14 seasons, the fifth-longest active streak.

Running back Jeremy McNichols has been one of the influential players on offense for the Broncos — rushing for 1,244 yards on 221 carries and averaged 5.6 yards per carry. McNichols has also ran for 18 touchdowns, which is tied for sixth in the nation alongside the likes of Leonard Fournette, Dalvin Cook and notably Northern Illinois’ Joel Bouagnon.

Quarterback Brett Rypien has passed for 2,976 yards and 17 touchdowns for Boise State.

Meanwhile, Northern Illinois will be led by star running back Joel Bouagnon, who leads the league in rushing yardage and touchdowns, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Bouagnon, who was named to the first-team All-MAC, has tallied 1,269 yards rushing this term with 18 TDs. The 6-foot-2 junior has gone over 130 yards five times this season, including four during the Huskies’ six-game winning streak in October and November.

At the same time, though, Northern Illinois heads into this battle on a poor streak — having lost three straight bowls battle.

THIS SHOULD BE A HIGH-SCORING MATCHUP

Georgia Southern and Bowling Green will battle for the GoDaddy Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

The Eagles (8-4) are bowl eligible for the first time in program history and they will hope to make their debut a fruitful one.

This matchup will also be the first meeting between Georgia Southern and Bowling Green and the Falcons (10-3), who secured their 12th Mid-American Conference Championship in program history this season, are favored by 7-points to start this series with the Eagles on a winning note.

This game is expected to be a high-scoring contest, with the total for the battle set at 64.5.

The experts believe there will be a lot of touchdowns in this outing, while noting Mid-American Conference underrated superstar — Falcons quarterback Matt Johnson, who has passed for 4700 yards and 43 touchdowns — is set to light things up on offense again.
