Several teams will be pushing for important victories as they seek places in the Super Regional, which runs from June 6-9.
No. 1 NCAA ranked team Louisiana-Lafayette (56-8) needed a focus game against Mississippi State (39-23), which they went on to win 14-8 win on Sunday night that forced a deciding game in the Lafayette Regional on Monday night at 7:00 PM ET.
The winner of this game will advanced to the Super Regional.
Louisiana-Lafayette had earlier ousts Jackson State in a dominating 11-1 one-sided contest to stay alive in the tournament.
After beating LSU (46-15) 5-4 in extra innings to force deciding game, Houston (47-16) will face these same opponents once again in the Baton Rouge Regional on Monday night, with the winner advancing to the Super Regional.
In the Houston Regional, Texas A&M (36-25) also forced a deciding game when they beat Texas (40-19) 3-2 to keep their hopes alive of advancing to the Super Regionals.
Texas A&M, which had to battle to avoid elimination twice on Sunday and Texas will meet at 7:00 PM ET Monday night in the deciding game.
Oregon State (45-13) stayed alive in the Corvallis Regional after defeating UC Irvine (37-23) 4-0 on Sunday night to set up a deciding game on Monday night.
Elsewhere on Monday, Washington (40-16-1) will play No. 1 seeded Mississippi (43-18) in the Oxford Regional after the Huskies secured a vital 4-2 victory against Georgia Tech on Sunday.
Washington Huskies must beat Mississippi twice to advance to the Super Regionals, which starts this weekend.
The action gets underway at Noon ET on Monday when Alabama (37-23) and Kennesaw State (39-22) face-off in the Tallahassee Regional Championship game in a winner-take all contest.
Miami (43-18) and Texas Tech (42-18) Coral Gables Regional game, which was postponed on Sunday, will resume on Monday at 2:00 PM ET, with the Hurricanes needing to beat the Red Raiders twice to extend their postseason.
