No. 11 Florida State will take on South Florida at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, and head coach Jimbo Fisher has revealed that his Seminoles have been preparing for such a fixture since preseason.
“Everything we did (in preseason) was 11:30,” said Fisher. “Be up and have a pregame meal at 7:30 (a.m.) and everything else.
“That was part of it because I knew it would be something different.”
Florida State wasted little time in putting away Texas State 59-16 last week, with Everett Golson throwing four touchdown passes for 302 yards on debut for the Seminoles.
South Florida picked up an effortless 51-3 win over Florida A&M in Week 1 last week.
The bookies are currently backing Florida State as 29-point favorites to beat the South Florida Bulls, while the total is sitting at 55.
In the meantime, No. 6 Auburn, who had to battle hard to see off a very determined Louisville side last week, will look to continue their winning start to the season against Jacksonville State.
The Tigers are the heavy favorites to go on and win this contest, although the odds and the opening line and total weren’t available.
