Group A for Russia 2018 will feature the host nation, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Some of the highlighted players in this group are Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool free-scoring forward this season who will lineup for Egypt and Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, who will lead the Uruguay attack.

Edinson Cavani from Uruguay, Russia goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, Mohamed Elneny from Egypt as well as Diego Godin of Uruguay and Alan Dzagoev of Russia.
