The game pits Manchester City, the defending English Premier League champions and Chelsea, the English FA Cup title holders together.
Live streaming and television coverage will be available with kick-off scheduled for 10:00 am ET.
In the United States, ESPN+ and WatchESPN will have live streaming, while BT Sport Live, BT Sport 4K UHD, BT Sport 1 and Chelsea TV will carry the coverage for UK viewers.

Sunday’s Community Shield will see newly installed manager Maurizio Sarri taking charge of Chelsea in a competitive game for the first time since replacing Antonio Conte last month.
“First of all, I’m looking forward to playing at Wembley because it’s my first time. The match will be very difficult for us,” Sarri, the former Napoli boss said.
“I want to win because it’s very important to have immediately a trophy.
“But in this moment of the season, it’s very important, the performance. We have to improve, of course.”
After running away with the Premier League title last season, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is hoping to start the new campaign positively and he’s also looking forward to the matchup at Wembley.
Guardiola admits that is hoping to learn from Sarri, noting that he also looking forward to starting a new rivalry with the Italian.
“I am happy that he (Sarri) is here in the Premier League,” the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager said.
“I will learn a lot to see his team every weekend. I saw three games. He gets it, the team in a short time plays like he wants.
“I think it will be a good game, always Chelsea is a big rival. Antonio was, Maurizio will be too. The style of play will be perfect for English football.”
Chelsea are seeking to win the Community Shield for the first time since 2009, while Manchester City last won the crown in 2012 when they beat the Blues 3-2.
