Justin Fields, Dobbins Lead No. 6 Ohio State Past Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Sporting Alert –Justin Fields threw for three touchdowns and ran for another score and No. 6 Ohio State routed Indiana 51-10 in its first road game of the season on Saturday.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Sporting Alert –Justin Fields threw for three touchdowns and ran for another score and No. 6 Ohio State routed Indiana 51-10 in its first road game of the season on Saturday.

Fields, who got the Buckeyes (3-0) on the scoresheet first with a three-yard run for a score in the opening quarter, also threw TD passes to Chris Olave, K.J. Hill and J.K. Dobbins in the win.

The former Georgia star went 14 for 24 on completed passes for 199 yards in the win.

DOBBINS HAD MONSTER DAY

Meanwhile, besides taking a catch for a touchdown, Dobbins also ran for 193 yards and a score, while Master Teague III rushed 10 times for 106 yards and a score for Ohio State, which won its third successive game this season.

“Today was a good day for me,” Dobbins said after the game.

Ohio State finished with 528 total yards, including 314 on the ground.

“We are clicking, but we still have things to clean up,” he added about his team’s offense.

The Buckeyes led 30-10 at halftime and added 21 unanswered points in the second half, as Indiana failed to get into the end zone in the second half.

Peyton Ramsey completed 20 of 34 passes for 166 yards with an interception for the Hoosiers (2-1), who fell for the first time this season.

GEORGIA DESTROYS ARKANSAS STATE

In another game of interest, No. 3 Georgia hammered Arkansas State 55-0 to improve to 3-0 on the season.

Jake Fromm went 17 of 22 for 279 yards and three touchdowns, while Dominick Blaylock took four catches for 112 yards and a score and D’Andre Swift had two catches for 64 yards with one touchdown and ran nine times for another 76 yards for the Bulldogs.

Logan Bonner was 20 of 35 for 125 yards for the Red Wolves (1-2) and Jonathan Adams Jr. caught seven passes for 85 runs in the defeat.
