Kawhi Leonard will return to the lineup for the Los Angeles Clippers when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.
Leonard missed the last two games for the Clippers with a mouth injury after colliding with teammate Serge Ibaka during the win over the Denver Nuggets on Christmas night.
The 29-year-old sustained the injury when Ibaka went up for a rebound during the game and caught him with a right elbow on the side of his face, forcing him to leave that game bleeding and required eight stitches to repair the damage.
He sat out the defeat to the Dallas Mavericks and the win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, but head coach Ty Lue said the All-Star forward will return against Portland.
Meanwhile, starting power forward Marcus Morris continues to be sidelined with a knee injury and will not play again tonight for the Clippers.
Trail Blazers: Gary Trent Jr.: day to day (calf), Carmelo Anthony: out (health and safety protocols), Zach Collins: out (ankle), Nassir Little: out (health protocols).
