Latest College Football Bowl Schedule On Dec. 28

Stanford vs TCU college football bowl

MIAMI, FL — College football bowl schedule, as well as live television channels, streams and game times for Thursday, Dec. 28.

Four more bowl games are listed on the schedule for today, including the Valero Alamo Bowl and San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl, which include teams ranked in the top 20 and started the season with College Football Playoff aspirations.

Among the highlighted fixtures for the day is the battle at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, where No. 13 Stanford and No. 15 TCU will tussle for the Valero Alamo Bowl.

Game time for this one is set for 9 p.m. ET and ESPN will provide the live television broadcast, while WatchESPN will stream it live for online viewers.

The Horned Frogs (10-3), enter this game hoping to bounce back from the playoff-ending 41-17 defeat to No. 2 Oklahoma in the return of the Big 12 championship on Dec. 2.

Gary Patterson’s side is making its second Alamo Bowl appearance in three seasons, including the triple-overtime dramatic comeback win over Oregon in 2015.

Meanwhile, Stanford (9-4) has won three of its last four games, but suffered a close 31-28 defeat to USC in the Pac-12 championship game.

The Cardinal will be led by Heisman finalist Bryce Love, who will be aiming to complete the season with at least 2,000 rushing yards.

The junior running back will start the game with 1,973 yards and 8.3 yards per carry and is expected to reach his target well inside the allotted game time.

Bryce, one of the highlighted players in the country this season, won the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s best running back, but none of those things altered his character.

“As usual, it’s probably more important to the other guys than it is to Bryce. Bryce just shrugs his shoulders at all those things,” Stanford coach David Shaw said.

“Most rushes over 50 yards record, all that stuff, he kind of shrugs his shoulders, OK, that’s great. When is practice?

“Bryce is the same guy that he was last week, two weeks ago, three years ago when we recruited him: a positive young man that just wants to be part of the football team.”

Meanwhile, at the SDCCU Stadium, No. 18 Washington State and No. 16 Michigan State will face off in the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl.

Game time for this contest is also set for 9 p.m. and Fox Sports 1 will carry the live television broadcast.

In another game on the college football bowl schedule involving ranked teams on Thursday, No. 19 Oklahoma State and No. 22 Virginia Tech will battle for the Camping World Bowl.

The Military Bowl will see Virginia and Navy facing off at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Maryland, starting at 1:30 p.m.
