(Sporting Alert) — The Ivory Coast take a commanding 3-1 advantage in the second leg of their African World Cup qualifying play-offs clash with Senegal on Saturday.
The Elephants, through goals from former Chelsea star forwards Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou and an own goal by Ludovic Sane made secured the comfortable lead heading into the second leg, although Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse scored a late consolation to give given Senegal some hope.
Come Saturday the battle is expected to continue, as Senegal are not prepared to just lay down and die and let their World Cup dream crash and burn at Stade Leopold Senghor.
Skybet has Senegal at 15/4 to take the three-points, while Ivory Coast are sitting at 8/13 for the positive result.
