STILLWATER, OKLA. (Sporting Alert) — NCAA Division I Baseball Super Regional tournament continues on Saturday with eight games, as the second group of hunters joined the battle for College World Series spots.

Joining the action on Saturday are the Maryland vs. Virginia, College of Charleston vs. Texas Tech, Pepperdine vs. TCU and the Ole Miss vs. Louisiana-Lafayette series.
On Friday, Vanderbilt, UC Irvine, Texas and Louisville all secured victories and moved within a single victory of booking a College World Series spots in the best of three-game-series battles.
This now leaves Houston, Kennesaw State, Oklahoma State and Stanford, all searching for that vital win as they are now one defeat away from elimination.
Super Regional action gets underway on Saturday at noon in the Charlottesville Super Regional with Maryland taking on the No. 1 seeded Virginia in Game 1 of their series.
The final game on the night comes at 10:00 pm, in Game 2 of the Stillwater Super Regional with Oklahoma State hosting UC Irvine, which picked a shocking 8-4 victory over the No. 1 seeded Cowboys.
