KANSAS CITY (Sporting Alert) — The Kansas City Chiefs are on a two game losing streak and on Sunday Andy Reid’s team will face the club which started the slide, the Denver Broncos, as the top AFC sides schedule a fast rematch.
Kansas City (9-2) opened the season with an impressive 9-0 run, but defeats to the Broncos and the San Diego Chargers a week ago, have left the Chiefs searching for a quick fixing.
The Broncos are also looking to bounce back from a defeat, following their 34-31 skid to the New England Patriots at Arrowhead Stadium last week.
But Denver (9-2) and Kansas City aren’t the only top sides in action in Week 13 Sunday, as the in-form Carolina Panthers (8-3), who are on a seven game winning streak, set a date with a Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-8) – slowly finding their way back in the league.
After losing eight-straight, the Buccaneers won its last three and on such a form, are in a position to make life somewhat difficult for fellow NFC South rivals Carolina at Bank of America Stadium. At the same time, the Panthers are 4-1 at home and could be too strong for the travellers.
Elsewhere, the Arizona Cardinals (7-4) will tackle the Philadelphia Eagles (6-5) at Lincoln Financial Field, the Patriots (8-3) travel to Reliant Stadium to face the struggling Houston Texans (2-9) who have dropped nine straight, while the San Francisco 49ers (7-4) will play host against the St. Louis Rams (5-6).
