(Sporting Alert) — Here is the Manchester City team to face South China in today’s Barclays Asia Trophy 2013 at Hong Kong stadium.
England No. 1 Joe Hart, as expected, starts in the goal, while Vincent Kompany, Joleon Lescott, Pablo Zabaleta and Gaël Clichy make up the back four.
Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri have both been handed starting places and are expected to play in a more advanced role, while Fernandinho and Gareth Barry sits in the middle.
Edin Dzeko leads the attacking line, with several options on the bench.
Amongst them is Argentine international Sergio Aguero, the club’s leading scorer when they won the English Premier League two seasons ago, along with recent summer recruit Alvaro Negredo.
Javi Garcia, Scott Sinclair, Micah Richards and Jack Rodwell are all on the bench as well, but there was no Jesus Navas as yet.
Meanwhile, both teams will be playing two halves of 40 minutes, following the delay to the Tottenham v Sunderland game earlier.
