MANCHESTER, Sporting Alert — The team news and starting lineups for the Manchester City v Liverpool English Premier League clash today (9) as both sides made changes.

First for the home team, and manager Pep Guardiola has made three changes from the team which edged Bournemouth before the international break.
Making their way into the starting XI are defenders John Stones and Kyle Walker, as well as forward Sergio Aguero, who will partner Gabriel Jesus in the attack at the Etihad Stadium.
Making way were the injured Vincent Kompany, the suspended Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva, who is dropped to the bench.
For Liverpool, Simon Mignolet comes back into the Liverpool goal for Loris Karius, who started in the 4-0 win over Arsenal but made way today.
Overall, the Reds made three changes to the side that started the last game, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ragnar Klavan starting in the backline.
Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren were the other two players missing out.
Deadline day signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the bench, while wantaway playmaker Philippe Coutinho was not included in the traveling squad because manager Jurgen Klopp thought he is not fit enough to feature, despite playing for Brazil in two World Cup qualifiers.
