Manchester United Moves Closer To Signing Pogba

PARIS, Sporting Alert – Is Paul Pogba set to make a remarkable return to Manchester United three years after leaving Old Trafford for free?

Well, it seems as though things are heading in that likely direction, as Sky Sports is reporting that Manchester United’s chief executive Ed Woodward is already in the process of negotiating a deal to bring the Juventus midfielder back to the Premier League giants.

According to Sky Sports, Woodward “has begun negotiations in the last 48 hours” and if everything goes well with all three parties, Manchester United supporters could see Pogba returning to Old Trafford on a possible world record fee in the area of £100m.

Serie A champions Juventus are keen to keep the 23-year-old, but would find it difficult to resist such an offer, especially since they paid nothing for him in 2013.

Should Pogba makes a return to Man United, he is expected to be one of the club’s highest-paid players, with Sky Sports reporting that he is set to earn up to £300K a week.

Manchester United are in strong competition with Spanish side Real Madrid for the signature of Pogba.

Real Madrid believe the Frenchman would prefer a move to the Spanish side, which recently won the Champions League.
