Meanwhile, the cry for Canavi to get his first start of the season has been answered, as Solskjaer handed the former Paris Saint-Germain forward a place in his starting trio.
Canavi will play alongside Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, while Mason Greenwood has to be content with a place on the bench.
