PORT-OF-SPAIN, Sporting Alert – Barbados Pride have won the toss and decided to field first in the Grand Final of the NAGICO Super50 Tournament against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force at the Queen’s Park Oval.

Both teams earned their places into this year’s final with solids wins and will be looking to finish off the tournament on a winning note.
In Thursday’s first semi-final, defending champions Red Force beat Guyana Jaguars by 54 runs here at Queen’s Park Oval, while the second Semi-final on Friday saw the Pride beating the Windward Islands Volcanoes by 7 wickets at the same venue.
The Red Force will look batsman Darren Bravo and wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin to lead the way with the bat when they take strike first, while the Pride bowling attack will be led by skipper Jason Holder and spinner Sulieman Benn.
With the bat, Barbados have the likes of Kraigg Brathwaite, Dwayne Smith and Jonathan Carter — who all have the ability to score big and score quickly.
This should be a thrilling contest and batsmen are expected to get runs.
In their semis, Trinidad and Tobago made 259 for 9 off its 50 overs and then bowled out Guyana for 205 runs off 48.3 overs.
Barbados, in the meantime, knock-off the 176 winning target which was set by Windward Islands in the other semis and did so with seven wickets left in hand.
