NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round Live

BARTLESVILLE, OK, Sporting Alert — The battle for places in the 2017 Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series begins on Monday (15) with action in the National Championship Opening Round. Follow the live streaming and game stats coverage from the below information.

After a very competitive regular season and conference tournaments, 45 teams will now fight for nine spots in the Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series from several different locations.

Each opening round, which will be played at nine host locations, is consist of five-team and will be a double-elimination tournament.

The winner from each of the nine locations will secure one of the berths to the 2017 Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series.

They will be joined by the host program Lewis-Clark State, which complete the official 10-team World Series bracket and be the entertainer of the event for the 18th-straight season and 26th time in NAIA history.

The schedule for the World Series bracket will be announced on May 19 and the series is slated to run from May 26 through June 2 at Harris Field in Lewiston, Idaho.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma Wesleyan, Oklahoma City, Bellevue (Neb.), William Carey (Miss.), Northwestern Ohio, Tabor (Kan.), Georgia Gwinnett, Faulkner (Ala.) and the Kingsport CVB & Appalachian Athletic Conference are the respective hosts for the Opening Rounds.
