MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert – Preparing for another exciting Sunday of NFL football, here are the ESPN Week 6 picks and predictions and TV channels to watch picks.
Among the teams looking to keep their undefeated runs this season are the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers and the Green Bay Packers.
The Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis will be the venue for Week 6 NFL Sunday Night Football featured game where Tom Brady and the Patriots (4-0) will travel to face the Colts (3-2).
According to ESPN NFL Nation reporters, the defending champions should have little problems putting away the home side. Brady has been in good touch since Week 1 and it’s highly unlikely anyone will slow him down come Sunday night.
Brady has already passed for 1387 yards and 11 touchdowns without an interception, which is tied for the third-most passing scores without a pick in NFL history.
Colts are expected to have leading quarterback Andrew Luck back for the game after he took part in full practice during the week.
Indianapolis is on a three-game win streak, but will having Luck back disturb the team rhythm.
Probably not?
But it is worth keeping in mind that the 26-year-old has already thrown seven interceptions in three games and comes into Sunday’s battle with a 30.9 QBR.
ESPN NFL Week 6 Picks: Patriots 34, Colts 20 and Patriots 45, Colts 20
Another quarterback in the spotlight heading into Sunday’s fixtures is Aaron Rodgers, who will lead the Green Bay Packers against the San Diego Chargers.
Rodgers and the Packers (5-0) are coming off a 24-10 victory over the St. Louis Rams, but the experienced quarterback was picked off twice during the contest.
He, however, is expected to bounce back without a problem, given that he hasn’t thrown interceptions in back-to-back games since the latter part of the 2012 season.
Oddsmakers have Green Bay, who could get receiver Davante Adams back from his ankle injury – a 10.5 favourite, and NFL Nation reporters are picking the home side to get the job done at Lambeau Field and start 6-0 for the first time since 2011 when the club opened with a 13-0 record before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15.
Rodgers was sacked four times that day.
ESPN NFL Week 6 Picks: Packers 38, Chargers 28 and Packers 31, Chargers 24.
