MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert – Week 2 in the new NFL regular season continues on Sunday with the familiar packed schedule. Follow live scores, predicted winners and more.
The second fixtures began on Thursday night with Peyton Manning and Jamaal Charles leading the Denver Broncos to a 31-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Sunday, the action gets going with 10 games kicking-off at 12:00 PM CT, including the battle at Ralph Wilson Stadium, where the Buffalo Bills will entertain New England live on CBS in an early divisional clash.
After opening the season with an impressive victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tom Brady and the Patriots go in search of their second win to start the campaign in this AFC East battle.
The Patriots come into this game as a 1.5-point favourites at most sportsbooks, with the game’s total is sitting at 44.5, but they have struggled to cover the spread against their AFC East division rivals in recent times, after going just 1-5 ATS in their past six divisional games.
Buffalo opened the season with a 27-14 win against the Indianapolis Colts and like the Patriots, they too will be looking to go 2-0 to start the season.
Also kicking-off at noon, is the contest involving Pittsburgh Steelers, who will play host to the San Francisco 49ers live on FOX from Heinz Field.
After falling last week to the four touchdown performance of Brady and New England, the Steelers will be hoping to bounce back at home and will start as 6.5-point favourites to beat the 49ers, with the total for this game sitting at 45.5.
At Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, the Bengals take on the Chargers, with both teams also trying to start the new campaign with a 2-0 record.
Cincinnati Bengals are the 3-point favourites on the oddsmakers list for the victory on Sunday, while the total for this one is set at 47.
Elsewhere in the NFL Week 2 fixtures on Sunday, Johnny Manziel will start as the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns against the Tennessee Titans at FirstEnergy Stadium.
In the Sunday Night Football game from Lambeau Field, which will be streaming live on NBC Sports Network and televised live on NBC, Aaron Rogers and the Green Bay Packers will battle with the Seattle Seahawks.
The Packers, according to the oddsmakers, are 3.5-point favourites versus the Seahawks, with the total for the game at 49.
