MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert — NFL round-up and scores from the list of matches that were played in Week 4.

The latest round of games left the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Brown, New York Giants and Los Angeles Chargers still in search of their first win of the season, while the Atlanta Falcons suffered their first defeat of the term.

San Francisco (0-4) suffered its fourth successive defeat of the new season after losing 18-15 in overtime to the Arizona Cardinals for who Carson Palmer passed for 357 yards on 33 of 51 completed attempts with one touchdown and an interception.

Jaron Brown took eight catches for 105 yards for Arizona (2-2).

Eli Manning and the Giants were beaten for the fourth time as well this season, following the 25-23 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Quarterback Jameis Winston went 22 of 38 for 332 yards with three touchdowns without an interception, and Nick Folk kicked a 34-yard field goal as time expired to guide the Buccaneers (2-1) to victory.

Manning was 30 of 49 for 288 yards with two touchdowns and ran for another score for the winless New York Giants (0-4).

Odell Beckham Jr. took seven of his 15 targets for 90 yards in the defeat for New York.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons (3-1) dropped their first game of the new campaign after going down 23-17 to the Buffalo Bills (3-1).

Tyrod Taylor was 12 of 20 for 182 yards with a touchdown, Charles Clay took five catches for 112 yards and Stephen Hauschka kicked a tiebreaking 56-yard field goal with less than 5 minutes left to steer the Bills to the win.

Matt Ryan passed for 242 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions for the Falcons, who lost wide receiver Julio Jones to a hip injury.

Elsewhere, Graham Gano made a 48-yard field goal as time expired and the Carolina Panthers surprised the New England Patriots 33-30 on the road.

The Patriots rallied from a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 30-30 with 3:09 remaining.

However, the Panthers pushed deep late into the contest and stole the win — handing New England its second defeat at home this season.

Cam Newton recovered from a slow start to throw for three touchdowns and ran for another score for the Panthers. He went 22 of 29 for 316 yards and tallied a further 44 yards on the ground.

Devin Funchess had two TD receptions for 70 yards, Kelvin Benjamin took all four of his targets for 104 yards and Jonathan Stewart rushed 14 times for 68 yards to pass DeAngelo Williams and become the Panthers’ all-time leading rusher.

Tom Brady finished 32 of 45 for 307 yards and two touchdowns for the Patriots, who are usually untouched at Gillette Stadium.
