NEW YORK — No. 14 Duke will take on No. 22 Notre Dame in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament title game on Saturday night at Barclays Center here in Brooklyn.
The Blues Devils (26-8) rallied from 13 down to knock off No. 1 seed and fifth-ranked North Carolina, 93-83 in the semifinals on Friday and will aim to win their 20th ACC Tournament championship Saturday night at Barclays Center.
ACC Tournament No. 3 seed Notre Dame, meanwhile, secured its place in the title game with a 77-73 win over No. 16 ranked and second-seed Florida State on Friday.
Luke Kennard is averaging 20.2 points per game this season for Duke, while Jayson Tatum is averaging 23 points and seven rebounds in three ACC Tournament games this term.
In their only regular-season meeting this year, the Blue Devils won 84-74 at Notre Dame on Jan. 30, with four Duke players scoring in double-digit, while the visitors shot 51.9 percent from the floor.
