WACO, TX — Five players scored in double figures and No. 2 Baylor rolled to a one-sided 99-42 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff to remain undefeated this season. The Bears led by a massive 43 points in the first half after holding the Golden Lions to a meager 12 points during that period.
LJ Cryer connected on 4 of 6 attempts from 3-pointers to score 15 points for Baylor, with Jared Butler shooting 6 of 14 from the field for 14 points to go with his seven rebounds and two steals.
MaCio Teague added 13 points and four rebounds, Matthew Mayer scored 12 points and Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua finished with 10 points and eight rebounds for the Bears (6-1).
Shaun Doss Jr. led Arkansas-Pine Bluff with a game-high 25 points, including 20 in just the second half, and grabbed 10 rebounds, but no one else reached double figures scoring for the Golden Lions (1-8).
In fact, Doss Jr. scored 67% of his team’s overall 30 points for the entire second half.

Baylor held the travelers to just four points in the opening 15 minutes of the game and led 39-4 during that stretch.
