AUSTIN, Texas (December 10) —— Senior forward Christian Bishop scored 16 points and help No. 2 Texas easily dismiss Arkansas-Pine Bluff 88-43 and remained undefeated at home this season with a comfortable win on Saturday. Bishop, who is averaging 4.9 points per game, jumped off the bench to shoot 7 of 10 today and added nine rebounds and four assists for the Longhorns (7-1), who rebounded from the overtime loss versus No. 17 Illinois earlier in the week in New York City.
Freshman Dillon Mitchell scored 13 points, Brock Cunningham had a career-high 13 and went a perfect 5-of-5 from the field, including three 3-pointers, while Timmy Allen contributed seven rebounds, six assists and four points for Texas, which shot 59.7% from the field and had 23 assists from 37 baskets.
Chris Greene scored 14 for Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3-8), which was held to just 13 points in the second half. Kylen Milton scored 13 points in the defeat for the Golden Lions, who shot 33.3% overall.
