Jose Mourinho side has dropped three games in a row, including two in the English Premier League and needs to deliver a clinical display against the League One side on the road.

Mourinho is expected to make changes once again to his starting XI, with the likes of Michael Carrick, Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young and Daley Blind all scheduled to be handed starts.

After falling three times in a row in recent outings, Manchester United are desperate for a win to help ease the pressure off manager Mourinho, who has been taking a bit of a stick in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, also in EFL Cup 3rd round action Wednesday are English Premier League outfits Manchester City, Sunderland, West Ham United, Southampton, Crystal Palace, Stoke City, Hull City and Tottenham.

There are three all Premier League head-to-head battles, with Stoke City facing Hull City, Southampton at Crystal Palace and Swansea City entertaining EPL leaders and the inform Manchester City.
