PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Complete digital box score and video highlights of the double-overtime victory for Providence over DePaul in Big East Conference play on Sunday.

David Duke scored 24 points on 8 of 17 shooting and made the clinching free throws in the closing seconds of play to help Providence secure a 95-90 win.

Duke also dished out six assists with five rebounds and two blocks, while A.J. Reeves added 22 points on 6 of 13 shooting with four 3-pointers to go along with his five rebounds, three steals, and two assists for the Friars (6-3, 2-1 Big East Conference).

Nate Watson recorded a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds and Noah Horchler finished with 10 points and seven rebounds in the win for Providence, which led 34-29 at halftime.

Romeo Weems scored a career-high 21 points to go with seven rebounds and Moore contributed 19 points and eight assists. for DePaul, which shot 48.7% on 37 of 76 shooting from the field.

Javon Freeman-Liberty finished with 13 points and five assists and Pauly Paulicap added 10 points, four rebounds, two blocks, and two steals for the Blue Demons (1-1, 0-1).

A pair of free throws by Duke with 2:46 remaining in the second overtime game Providence an 89-88 lead and then the Friars held the Demons to just one field goal in the last few minutes.

Reeves’ 3-pointer with 0:06 seconds left in regulation time tied the score at 74-all and send the game into overtime play before DePaul’s Paulicap scored a layup with 40 seconds left to force the second overtime with the score tied at 83.
