OLD TRAFFORD, Sporting Alert – Marcus Rashford retains his place in the Manchester United starting lineup for today’s English Premier League clash with Watford at Old Trafford.
Rashford was given his chance to prove himself last week, following the injury problems to Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial, and the 18-year-old took full advantage — scoring four goals and laying off an assists in his two appearances.
Rashford became the first player in the Red Devils history to score two goals in their opening two games.
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has also named Anthony Martial in his starting team after the Frenchman recovered from a tight hamstring problem that kept him out of the last two games.
Martial comes into the lineup for Jesse Lingard, who is on the bench. making way.
Michael Carrick makes way for Tim Fosu-Mensah, who starts at left-back while Marcos Rojo moves central to partner Daley Blind, with Matteo Darmian and Joe Rothwell among the players on the bench.

Meanwhile, Watford have made four changes to the side that played to a 0-0 draw with Bournemouth the last time out, with Allan Nyom, Sebastian Prödl, José Holebas and Almen Abdi brought into the team.
The first three players come into the backline while Abdi replaces Nordin Amrabata in midfield.
