DURHAM, N.C., Sporting Alert – Here are the college basketball games that are streaming live on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN networks on Tuesday, March 1.
Among the highlighted games on the fixture for Tuesday night is the Atlantic Coast Conference clash between No. 17 Duke and Wake Forest at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Devils (21-8, 10-6 ACC) were bumped two places in the AP top 25 rankings on Monday, but can move back up with wins in their last two regular season games, as their fixtures conclude on Saturday against league leaders North Carolina.
Grayson Allen enters this game as the leading scorer for Duke, with 20.9 points per game while shooting 48.2 percent from the floor.
His line of support includes two freshmen in Brandon Ingram (17ppg) and Luke Kennard (11.9 ppg), but senior Matt Jones’ return from injury has been vital for the Blue Devils, who are still without star forward Amile Jefferson, who was averaging a double-double before he got injured.
He’s played just nine games this season before breaking his right foot during practice. Jefferson did not need surgery, but there is no timetable on when the senior will return.
Duke is coming off a disappointing 76-62 defeat to Pittsburgh on Sunday.
Wake Forest, in the meantime, has dropped its last two games and 13 of the last 14 overall.
The Demon Deacons (11-18, 2-15), who close the regular season with this trip to Duke, are sitting second-to-last in the ACC standings with just two league wins.
In their home finale the last time out, Wake Forest fell 81-74 to Virginia Tech and will try to close out the campaign on a winning note.
Live streaming coverage of the Duke v Wake Forest battle starts at 8:00 p.m. ET live on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.
Duke starts as 16.5 favorite to bounce back from the Pitt defeat win against the struggling Demon Deacons, but head coach Mike Krzyzewski has warned his players they must improve if they are to make a run at defending their national title later this month.
Another AP top 25 team with a live streaming fixture available on ESPN3 on Tuesday night is No. 11 Louisville, which takes on Georgia Tech at KFC Yum! Center.
The Cardinals (22-7, 11-5) are coming off a 73-65 defeat to Miami (FL) on Saturday.
Georgia Tech (17-12, 7-9) is on a four-game winning streak.
A total nine games are available online via the networks and fans — with the right internet or cable services — will have the chance to take the scores and live videos with them anywhere.
