Bale joined the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric in a training session on Friday and didn’t look to be bothered by the minor groin injury he’s been carrying in the last week or so.
Following the session Ancelotti confirmed that the former Tottenham winger will not only travel with the team, but will also feature in the La Liga clash this weekend.
“Bale has no injury concerns, he is feeling fine, he is excited and feeling motivated to play,” Ancelotti said on www.realmadrid.com.
“He will travel with the team and play against Villarreal.”
However, the Real Madrid manager wasn’t sure about whether he would start the Wales international or bring him off the bench in the second half.
“I have to decide whether that is in the first or second half,” he said. “His condition is not the best, but he’s not bad.”
Bale and the likes of Ronaldo were pair together in a small ball control and passing group on Friday, with the Portugal international handing his new teammate a few hard challenges.
Ronaldo gave Bale no special treatment, as he dove into several challenges on the world’s most expensive player.
