Cavani and Suárez will lead the attack for Uruguay against an Argentina side that is without Lionel Messi and has already qualified for next summer’s World Cup tournament.

Also on the bench alongside Forlan is striker Abel Hernandez, as well as midfielder Gaston Ramirez and defender Álvaro Pereira.

Diego Godín, Diego Lugano and Maxi Pereira all start in the backline, while Cristian Rodriguez and Diego Pérez are among the starters in the midfield.

Meanwhile, for Argentina, who are without Messi, Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Aguero, left Ezequiel Lavezzi on the bench with Rodrigo Palacio and Erik Lamela in the attack. Maxi Rodríguez starts as well, so does Ever Banega.

Defenders Ezequiel Garay and Pablo Zabaleta are both on the bench.
