Baylor Looks To Stay Perfect

Baylor (5-0), which returned as the second-ranked team in the country in the Associated Press Top 25 poll on Monday, has won five straight to start the season. The Bears start tonight’s game as a 42.5 point favorites against the Golden Lions (1-7) who have one win from eight games so far this season.

After picking up a pair of wins in November, Baylor has won three straight so far in December, including Saturday’s 100-69 thumping of Kansas State in its Big 12 conference opener.

The Bears are averaging 88.33 points across the three games in December and are giving away 63.33 at the other end. Overall the team is scoring 92.6 points per game this season and giving up 64.8.

From the field, they are shooting 52.1% on 20.8 assists and averaging 39.6 rebounds per contest.

Meanwhile, for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, it could be a long night for the visitors who are allowing 86.5 points per game and scoring just 58.5 on offense.

The Golden Lions, who dropped the last two games, are shooting 35.1% from the field, pulling down 31.8 rebounds, and averaging 3.5 blocks.

However, the team is only dishing out 8.0 assists per game.

Shaun Doss Jr. has averaged 15.8 points and 5.3 rebounds for Arkansas-Pine Bluff and he should be the main contributor again tonight for the travelers.

MaCio Teague is scoring 15.8 points with 5.4 rebounds. Adam Flagler is scoring 15.3, Jared Butler (15.0), Davion Mitchell (14.0), while Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua is putting out 10.6 points with 7.0 rebounds for the Bears.
