At Doak Field, Coastal Carolina (46-16) and NC State (38-21) will resume their Raleigh Regionals battle which was suspended after starting an hour-and-40 minutes late and was again disturbed due to rain.
The contest, which was suspended for 40-minute because of rain in the top of the fifth, resumes on Tuesday with the Wolfpack leading 5-3, but the Chanticleers have the bases loaded with one out in the top of the ninth.
Live online streaming is on ESPN3, with NCAA.com providing updated stats, Gamecast and scoring updates.
At the Alex Box Stadium, No. 21 nationally ranked and tournament second seed Rice will seek to spring another surprise against the tournament top-seed and No. 5 ranked LSU in a winner-take-all championship matchup.
The Owls (38-23) defeated the Tigers (44-19) 10-6 late Monday night to force a deciding game with the winner advancing to the NCAA Super Regional regional.
“Obviously, it’s a tough loss for us tonight,” LSU coach Paul Mainieri said on the Tigers website at wwww.lsusports.net. “We just had a tough time stopping them.
“We had a couple of tough breaks early offensively that kept us from scoring some runs. We just let some opportunities get away from us, and we just couldn’t stop them in the middle innings. Hopefully, tomorrow night will be a different story.”
Catch it live on ESPNU, ESPN3.com, WatchESPN.com and on the WatchESPN App for those wanting to follow the game on their mobile phones.
In the other game on Tuesday, South Carolina and UNC Wilmington face off at Founders Park in the Columbia Regionals.
