The host nation will look to build from the 3-1 victory over Mozambique their opening game at the weekend, while Mali, which played to a surprised 2-1 win against Nigeria, will also want to keep its winning form going with another three points Wednesday.
Attacker Bernard Parker scored twice for South Africa in their win and he will lead the frontline again against Mali, alongside Edward Mnqele.
Abdoulaye Sissoko and Adama Traore, who were on target for Mali in the win over favourites Nigeria, are both in the starting lineup for today’s game.
