Watch Stephen Curry hits a fan with his mouthpiece and was ejected from the game as the Golden State Warriors suffered 115-101 defeat to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.
Curry was ejected from the game with less than five minutes remaining and he showed his anger by firing his mouthpiece in the direction of the stands and it connected on a fan standing on the sidelines.
The reigning two-time MVP apologized to the targeted supporter afterwards.
The Warriors were down 99-87 at the time.
It was the first time since 2013 that Curry was fouling out of a game.
Meanwhile, LeBron James delivered another masterclass performance of 41 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds to lead the Cavs to back-to-back wins and forced a Game 7 on Sunday at Golden State.
James, who also scored 41 points in the Game 5 win, was 16 for 27 from the field and he made 3 of 6 from long-range. The four-time MVP also had 3 blocks
Kyrie Irving finished with 23 points, Tristan Thompson had 15 points and 16 rebounds, while JR Smith contributed 14 points in the win for the Cavaliers, who were been down 3-1 in the series.
Curry, before he was ejected, had 30 points and Klay Thompson added 25 in the defeat for the Warriors.
Draymond Green, back in the starting lineup after a one game suspension, had 8 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the defeat for Golden State, which took 39 shots from 3-point range and made 15.
Curry was 8 for 20 overall from the field and 6 for 13 from 3s, while Thompson went 9 for 21 on shooting.
