ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Barbados Pride, who won the toss and decided to bat first in the final of the WICB Regional Super50 Tournament at Coolidge Cricket Ground on Saturday, have set Jamaica Scorpions a winning target of 272 to lift this year’s trophy.

Shai Hope hit a well measured 101 runs off 98 balls, which included five 4s and five 6s to help Barbados reached 271 for 9 off its 50 overs.

Captain Jason Holder smashed 69 runs off 47 deliveries with five 4s and four 6s included in that aggressive knock.

Kevin Stoute scored 47 and Kraigg Brathwaite added 22 for Pride, who lost to Jamaica during the group stages earlier this month.

All-rounder Rovman Powell finished with two wickets for 27 runs off three overs and spinner John Campbell collected two for 35 off 10 overs to lead the way with the ball for the Scorpions.
