MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert – ESPN3 schedule for the men’s and women’s college basketball games on Tuesday, November 22.
A mixture of NCAA and NAIA games are on the list for the day with the live action on the streaming platform starting at Noon.
On the women’s side, No. 2 Connecticut will host Dayton for Luau Night at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, seeking their fourth win of the season, while looking to extend their own college basketball’s longest active winning streak.
Game time for this clash Tuesday night is 7:00pm ET.
LAST TIME OUT
In their last outing on Sunday, the Huskies (3-0) collected a career-high 28 points with eight rebounds from sophomore forward Katie Lou Samuelson and shot 54-percent from 3-point range in a 76-53 victory over LSU.
Kia Nurse added a season-best 15 points and also dished out eight assists in the win, as UConn handed LSU its first loss of the season and extended its own overall winning streak to 78 games.
Dayton (2-10), meanwhile, comes into this clash on a two-game winning streak after beating Wisconsin and Princeton on the road.
The Flyers had opened their season with a 63-60 loss to Quinnipiac.
Dayton is averaging 68.3 points per game and holding opponents to 61.0 points each contest through three games, but will probably need to be at its best Tuesday night against UConn, which is scored over 75 points per game and holding foes to 63.3.
ALL-TIME SERIES
UConn and Dayton have met twice before with the Huskies winning both games in series, including a 91-70 NCAA Albany Regional Final win over the Flyers in March last year.
In that game, the defending champion trailed 44-43 at halftime but came back in the second half.
There are also 12 college men’s basketball games on the ESPN3 schedule on Tuesday.
Included on that list are the clashes between Robert Morris against Kansas State, Florida International against North Florida, McNeese vs. Memphis and the Arkansas against Minnesota matchup.
In a NAIA clash on the ESPN3 schedule, Grace College and Indiana Wesleyan will do battle in Marion.
The No. 2 ranked Wildcats have won five straight games and are coming off a dominating 92-70 victory over visiting No. 9 IU East a week ago.
