OKLAHOMA CITY, Sporting Alert – NBA scores and results from the games that took place on Wednesday night, November 18. Rockets, Thunder and Pacers all won.

THUNDER 110, PELICANS 103

OKLAHOMA CITY — Russell Westbrook collected 43 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 110-103 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night.

The Thunder (7-5) were again playing without All-Star forward Kevin Durant who remains on the sidelines having missed four straight games with a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, Enes Kanter added 24 points and 14 rebounds off the bench to help Oklahoma City, which got off to a slow start, bounced back from back-to-back defeats against the Boston Celtics and the Memphis Grizzlies.

Ryan Anderson paced the Pelicans with 30 points and seven rebounds, while Ish Smith and Eric Gordon each had 18 points in the defeat.

Alexis Ajinca grabbed a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds for New Orleans (1-11), which lost its fifth straight game and played without star forward Anthony Davis, who skipped the game because of a shoulder injury.

PACERS 112, 76ERS 85

PHILADELPHIA — Paul George scored 34 points and the Indiana Pacers kept Philadelphia 76ers winless this season with a 112-85 victory on Wednesday night.

George shot 13-for-24 from the floor, while adding eight rebounds, five assists and four steals in 32 minutes.

It was the 12th straight defeat for the Sixers, who moved within five losses from matching last season’s franchise-worst start.

C.J. Miles scored 20, Chase Budinger had 15 points and six rebounds and Jordan Hill collected 10 points and seven boards for the Pacers (7-5)

Philadelphia was led by T.J. McConnell, who scored 16 points and six rebounds, with rookie Jahlil Okafor adding 14 points and six boards and Jerami Grant finishing with 13 points and three block shots.

The 76ers, who are gearing up for a six-game road trip, which starts in Charlotte on Friday, committed a season-high 31 turnovers in the defeat.

ROCKETS 108, TRAIL BLAZERS 103

HOUSTON — James Harden scored all nine of Houston’s points in overtime and finished with 45, as the Rockets rallied to beat the Portland Trail Blazers 108-103 on Wednesday night.

The Rockets (5-7) trailed by as many as 17 points, but erased the deficit in the second half to send the game into overtime after Corey Brewer hit an off-balance 3-pointer with time running down.

Harden shot 11-for-29 from the floor, but struggle from behind the arc after going just 4-for-15 from long range.

The All-Star guard also had 11 assists, eight rebounds and five steals for Houston, which fired coach Kevin McHale earlier in the day.

Trevor Ariza added 18 points and eight boards and Brewer finished with 16 points, while hitting three of his six 3-point attempts.

Dwight Howard pulled down 19 rebounds and had three block shots for the Rockets, which snapped a four-game skid.

Damian Lillard led the Trail Blazers with 23 points, with C.J. McCollum adding 19 and Al-Farouq Aminu collecting 16 points and 15 rebounds in the defeat.

Portland (4-9) was suffering their seventh successive defeat.
