MELBOURNE (Sporting Alert) — The following is the order of play for major matches on Day 9 at the Australian Open Tennis Tournament in Melbourne, Australia, on Tuesday.

Amongst the stars down for action on Tuesday is defending champions and World No. 2-seeded Novak Djokovic of Serbia, who will take on 8th-seeded Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland in a push for a semi-final place.

In another men’s singles game,  Spain’s third-seeded David Ferrer takes on the seventh-seeded Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic.

In women’s singles action, No. 4-Li Na of China will take on No. 28 Flavia Pennetta of Italy, while the 14th-seeded Ana Ivanovic of Serbia, who upset No. 1 Serena Williams  in the third round, faces No. 30 Eugenie Bouchard (Canada).
