Zaha, who was set to make his 200th Premier League appearance, was been left out of the Crystal Palace squad as he self-isolating.

Attacking midfielder Ebere Eze, who was withdrawn from the England U21 setup as a precaution, has shaken off his niggle and takes in place in the starting lineup for Crystal Palace.

Eze will join Andros Townsend and Michy Batshuayi, who replaces Zaha in the Palace’s only change to the team that secured a 4-1 win at Leeds before the international break..

Joel Ward (groin) and Tyrick Mitchell (knock) recovered to take a place on the bench, but James Tomkins (thigh) was not named in the match day squad.

Midfielder Luka Milivojevic will serve the second game of a three-match suspension. The Serbian is also isolating as he awaits the result of a second coronavirus test after testing positive on Monday.

For the home side Burnley, defender Erik Pieters has recovered from a calf injury to take a place on the substitutes’ bench with fellow defender Phil Bardsley also available again for selection after he tested tested positive for coronavirus last month.

Also on the Burnley bench is midfielder Robbie Brady, who was doubtful for the game after injuring his hamstring on Republic of Ireland duty this week. Fellow wide man Johann Berg Gudmundsson shook off a calf problem to start today.

Full-back Charlie Taylor has overcome an Achilles tendon problem to  start today as Burnley go in search of their first win of the season against Crystal Palace.

Midfielder Dale Stephens is expected to miss out because of a hamstring complaint.
