However, the team is without star forward Jaylen Brown who was ruled out for the game due to an adductor injury and could miss “a week or two” according to Head coach Joe Mazzulla.

The absence of Brown is a significant blow for the Celtics, as he has been a key player for the team this season.

The forward is averaging 27.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. The team is treating him as day-to-day for the time being, but it remains to be seen how long he will be out.

The Nets, who were without the injured Kevin Durant, were led by Kyrie Irving with 14 points. T.J. Warren had a strong first half with 13 points on 6 of 10 field goal attempts, while Joe Harris added 10 points and four rebounds.

Ben Simmons also had a solid first half with 10 assists and five rebounds.

The game had a total of five lead changes and was tied three times. With the absence of Jaylen Brown, the Celtics will need to lean on players like Tatum and White to fill the scoring gap.
